Jakarta - Katy Perry merilis music video (MV) single 'Not the End of the World' pada Selasa (22/12/2020) kemarin malam.
Dalam MV 'Not the End of the World', menampilkan Zooey Deschanel yang sering dibilang mirip dengan dirinya. Katy dan Zooey memiliki wajah hingga bentuk tubuh Katy yang hampir serupa sehingga kerap disandingkan.
Pada MV tersebut tampak beberapa alien yang ingin menyelamatkan Katy dari akhir dunia, namun mereka malah salah orang dengan membawa Zooey (yang dikira Katy) ke dalam pesawat.
Saat di dalam pesawat, Zooey yang kebingungan mencoba menjelaskan bahwa dirinya bukanlah Katy tapi tidak digubris oleh para alien.
Para alien lalu mendandani Zooey dengan tampilan Katy di era lagu 'California Gurls', dan diminta bernyanyi di depan mereka untuk menyelamatkan dunia dari kehancuran.
Di bagian awal MV tersebut, Katy sempat muncul sebentar dengan mengenakan topi dan kacamata hitam sambil mendorong stroller berisikan anak pertamanya, Daisy Dove Bloom.
'Not The End of the World' merupakan lagu keenam dari album ke-5 Katy Perry bertajuk 'Smile'. Lagu ini tentang melewati masa-masa sulit dan mengetahui bahwa ini bukanlah akhir dari dunia.
