Billie Eilish Kena Body Shaming, Fans Ramai-ramai Membela

Jakarta - Menjadi penyanyi ternama dan membuat sejumlah prestasi tampaknya tidak menghalangi netizen julid berkomentar buruk.

Buktinya, Billie Eilish juga jadi korban. Penyanyi 18 tahun itu belum lama ini jadi korban body shaming.

Itu karena fotonya saat mengenakan tank top dan celana pendek, yang memperlihatkan bentuk tubuhnya, beredar luas di internet pada 13 Oktober. 

Pemilik akun Twitter @GamesNosh membagikan foto tersebut sambil menuliskan caption "in 10 months Billie Eilish has developed a mid-30's wine mom body".

Tentu saja komentarnya membuat banyak orang marah. Fans pun beramai-ramai membela pelantun 'Bad Guy' tersebut.

"People need to stop being so obsessed over celebrities, they are people too, and they have the right to live how they want, they don't need to follow the horrid beauty standards previous celebrities have made foe us. (both men and women)," komentar seorang netizen.

"body shaming a 18 year old girl must make you feel soooo confident and manly," komentar yang lainnya.

"Why do people feel it's so necessary to judge one and another. Billie Eilish can do whatever the fuck she wants. She doesn't have to conform to your expectations just because you may or may not like her body," tulis yang lainnya.

Billie Eilish sendiri belum lama ini menuai prestasi. Dirinya sukses membawa piala di ajang penghargaan Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) 2020 untuk kategori Top 200 Album dan Top Female Artist.
